Fish oil supplements, if you purchase high quality ones,  have so many health benefits because of the Omega 3 essential fatty acids they contain.

But, as I already said, they have to be the right ones.

The quality of the oil capsules depends on the following:

  • using fish that is known to have high quality fatty acids
  • the fish ideally should originate from the pristine waters south of New Zealand, where the risk of contamination is very low
  • The fish oil should be extracted using molecular distillation
  • the capsules need to contain a high percentage of DHA/EPA
  • the oil needs to be processed very fast to prevent oxidation and must not taste rancid but pure.
  • no matter where the fish came from it needs to go through a purifying process

Once you get the right fish oil supplements it will be beneficial for :

  • brain development and maintenance
  • eyesight
  • cardiovascular system
  • digestive system
  • arthritis
  • all disorders that have inflammation associated with them
  • IBD, IBS
  • immune system
  • cholesterol level
  • diabetes
  • acne, psoriasis and eczema

It is a known fact that most people in the Western countries have a serious deficiency of  Omega 3 fatty acids. It’s possible to get AlA -alpha-linolenic -acid from our regular diet. ALA is one of the essential acids our body cannot manufacture and thus we have to get it from our diet. But the most important two will have to come from eating fatty fish or fish oil supplements

Before we started eating fast foods and processed food the ratio between Omega 3 and Omega 6 wavered between 1:1 and 1:3. Ideally it should be 1:1 but 1:3 is still acceptable. The ratio now is 1:20

All the processed foods and fast foods contain much Omega 6 and we practically do not get the Omega 3 we need.

This Omega 3 deficiency is believed to be the cause of  obesity, depression, dyslexia, hyper activity and even violence.

Quality fish oil supplements is the best solution for this problem. Unless you want to eat fatty fish three times a week. And that would have its drawback too because so much deep sea fish is contaminated. A good fish oil will not have contaminants in it

Would you not agree with me when I claim that it’s worth a mere $ 20.- per month…..actually it’s less than that…..to stay healthy or get your health and energy back?
